| Allen D. McClure Allen D. McClure, 60, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 13, 1949 in Logan County, the son of Dale McClure, who survives in West Liberty and Patricia (Kilgore) McClure who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, James Dee and a brother-in-law, Edwin Dee. He is survived by his wife of more than forty years, Kathy (Dee) McClure, whom he married December 30, 1969 in Bellefontaine, his son, James �Jamie� McClure of Columbus, Ohio, his daughter, Allison (Rob) Louden of Bellefontaine, Ohio, two grandchildren, Tyler and Anna Louden of Bellefontaine, two brothers, Roy McClure and Robert (Cyndi) McClure, both of West Liberty, two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Wayne) Coder of Waynesfield, Ohio, and Gale Dee of Richmond, Virginia, brother-in-law, Michael Dee, and mother-in-law, Virginia Ritter Dee, both of Homestead, Florida, numerous nieces and nephews, and his three golfing buddies, Bill �Woody� Woodruff, Doug �Pole Cat� Poulin, and Don �Mapes� Maples. Al was a 1967 graduate of West Liberty Salem High School and later served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He retired from Navistar in Springfield after thirty six years and then worked for Dayton Power & Light Company reading meters. He also served as zoning inspector for Monroe Township for several years. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. #132, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and The Union Club in Springfield. He was an avid reader and loved history, especially the Civil War. His past times included golfing, bowling, fishing and hunting, but most of all he loved the time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with Pastors Ron Irick and Ray Headings officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
