| | Barbara B. Jakeway Barbara B. Jakeway, 88, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Heartland of Bellefontaine in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine January 6, 1922, a daughter of the late Floyd and Anna Smith.
On August 21, 1949, she married Hersel E. Jakeway, and he preceded her in death August 6, 1986. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Taylor, Gene & Lester Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Bryan H. (Teena) Jakeway and Bruce G. Jakeway both of Belle Center; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia �Patty� (Milo) Ricketts Jr. of Bellefontaine.
She was a beautician for over forty years with the Harper Method Beauty Shop in Bellefontaine, a member of the Waves and a 1940 graduate of Bellefontaine High School.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010, at 2 P.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center with Pastor Gregg Haisley officiating.
