| Beatrice M. Woodruff Wirick Beatrice M. Woodruff Wirick, 85 of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009, at the Green Hills Center in West Liberty. She was born on May 9, 1923, in Oakes, North Dakota, to the late Lawrence and Dorcas(Farrington ) Davidson. She is also preceded in death by husbands Richard H. Woodruff whom she married on July 13, 1941 in Kingscreek, Ohio. Richard preceded her in death on July 7, 1988. She married Herbert L. Wirick on September 22, 1991, in West Liberty, and he died December 10, 2001. Brother and sister-in-law Earl and Betty Davidson, brother Glen Davidson, sister and brother-in-law Lucille and Pat Smith, and step grandson Rick Wirick also precede her. Beatrice is survived by two sons Tim (Joyce) Woodruff of West Liberty, and Mark (Dawn) Woodruff of Loveland, Ohio; one daughter Marian (Dennis) Nolan of West Liberty; two stepchildren Kayo (Melanie) Wirick and Joyce (Steve) McCullough all of West Liberty; five grandchildren, Greg Woodruff, Jennifer (Eric) Schwaderer, Kevin (Deayna) Woodruff, Heather (Kenny) Holtzclaw and Angela (Tim) Judd; four step grandchildren Tim (Monica) Nolan, Rob Nolan, Ryan (Cindy) Wirick and Chris McCullough; six great grandchildren Jake and Jason Woodruff, Timmy Judd, Samantha Bea and Hanna Schwaderer, and Alaina Holtzclaw; eight step great grandchildren Riley and Megan Nolan, Nicholas, Blake, Jessica and Cierra Wirick, Grant Ward and Elizabeth Miller; two sister-in-laws Josephine Davidson and Thelma (Carl) Woodruff. Beatrice worked outside of the home, most recently at the West Liberty Branch of the Logan County District Library, and was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, and many people received the fruits of her love for needlework, cross stitching, knitting and crotchet. A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 3, 2009, in the Kingscreek Cemetery at 10:30 A.M. A memorial service follows at the West Liberty United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M. where Dr. Brien McGarvey will officiate. Visitation is one hour before and one hour after the memorial service. The Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty handled the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County District Library West Liberty Branch 117 N.
