Betty J. Winebrenner Millington

Betty J. Winebrenner Millington, 82, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, departed this life Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She was born May 22, 1927 in Kenton, Ohio, to the late Ernest and Gwendolyn (Temple) Winebrenner.

On June 26, 1944, she married Matthew Mark Millington Sr. in Summersville, Georgia, and he preceded her in death February 3, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Matthew �Skip� Mark Millington Jr., a daughter, Priscilla �Syl� Irene Miranda, a brother, Richard Winebrenner and a sister, Jean Crosnoe.

Betty is survived by two sons, Harry E. (Peggy) Millington and Patrick A. Millington, and a granddaughter whom she raised, Dawn R. (Jeff) Duffy, all of Bellefontaine; a brother, Jerry (Vicki) Payer of West Jefferson, Ohio; grandchildren, Donald (Allcia) Miranda, David Miranda, Andrea and Mark Duffy, Kelly (Steve) Berry, Dana (Wes) Bright, all of Bellefontaine, and Brian Lattimer of Willow Spring, North Carolina; thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves a beloved friend, Jerri McDonald of Bellefontaine, who was like a sister.

A homemaker, Betty raised and helped raise three generations of her family. She worked at Bulldog in the 1960�s for nine years, and was a member of the Audubon Society. She took great pride and comfort being with her family and loved going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren sporting events. She also enjoyed traveling with her friend, Jerri, walking and bird watching. 

Will Zell will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Friday, March 26, 2010, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Claibourne Cemetery in Richwood, Ohio.
