Mary J. �Janie� Chamberlin

Mary J. "Janie" Chamberlin, 72, died Sunday, October 19, 2008, at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton, Ohio.
She was born January 20, 1936, in Logan County, Ohio, to Alfred and Helen (McGinnis) Patterson. On January 30, 1954, she married Ora L. Chamberlin in Huntington, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Patterson.
 

Surviving are a son, Ora L. Chamberlin Jr., of Kenton, Ohio; two daughters, Susan (Gordon) Strickland of Kenton and Lisa (Jerry) Arnett of Ada, Ohio; five brothers, Alfred (Roxy) Patterson of Oregon, Jim (Margaret) Patterson of Belle Center, Ohio, Joe (Shirley) Patterson of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Ed (Billie) Patterson of Belle Center and Mike (Karen) Patterson of Maryland; three sisters, Maxine (Sam) Pemberton of Nevada, Joan (Herb) Litteral of Belle Center, Ohio, and Margie (Fred) Chasteen of Rushsylvania, Ohio; four grandchildren, Gavin (Jenny) Strickland of Kenton, Courtney (Dan) Verhoff of Holgate, Shawn (Kristi) Arnett of Ada and Diana (John) Hundley of Knoxville, Tennessee; and four great-grandsons, Owen and Ean Arnett, Wyatt Strickland and Matthew Verhoff.

She was a member of Belle Center Church of Christ. She worked many years as a secretary at the Belle Center and Huntsville Elevators.
 

Calling hours are from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, where Pastor David. C. Hawthorne conducts the funeral service at 11 A.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Burial will be in Fairview McDonald Cemetery.
 

Memorials may be made to Hardin County Hospice.
