Darrell A. Nichols

Darrell A. Nichols, 58, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at his residence. He was born Aug. 29, 1950, in Bellefontaine, a son of Bessie Wilkinson Lehman, who survives in Marion, Ohio, and the late John C. Nichols.

On Feb. 22, 1993, he married the former Judy Fry, and she survives, along with two sons, Darrell (Tish) Nichols Jr. of DeGraff, Ohio, and Daniel (Tammy) Nichols of Bellefontaine; two daughters, Diane Pence of Huntsville, Ohio, and Darlene Crites of Crestview, Kentucky.; three brothers, John Nichols of Johnstown, Ohio, and Bill (Michelle) Nichols and Carl Nichols, both of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Carol (Ron) Popp of Bellefontaine and Linda (Jody) Maze of Marion; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great step grandchild. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Derek Lee Nichols.

Darrell believed in all of the Bible�s promises and attended various churches in Logan County including Kingdom Hall. He enjoyed watching Charles S. Stanley Baptist Ministries and garage sale shopping. He worked as groundskeeper at Liberty Hills Golf Club and the former Bellefontaine Country Club for 37 years.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Greg Haisley will conduct a graveside service at 3 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2009, in the Zanesfield Cemetery, Zanesfield, Ohio.
