David Allen Thatcher, 45, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was born January 15, 1966 in Bellefontaine, to the late Dale E. Thatcher and Frances (Dearwester) Thatcher, who survives in Bellefontaine. 

He is survived by his sons, David A. Thatcher II, Dale E. Thatcher III , Derek Brown all of Bellefontaine, and Thomas Henry of Huntsville, Ohio; a brother, Dale (Pam) Thatcher Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; sisters, Tracey Thatcher of Lawrence, Kansas and Darlene Wright of Bellefontaine; a nephew, Allen Wright and a niece, Brittany Wright, both of Bellefontaine. 

David worked for North American Container as a forklift driver. 

David loved to listen to rock music and spend time with his boys and his niece and nephew.  When his health permitted, he loved to ride his motorcycle. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
