Donald S. Saylor

Donald S. Saylor, 55, of Belle Center, Ohio, died Friday, May 7, 2010, at his home. He was born in Kenton, Ohio July 13, 1954, a son of Wanda Froebe Saylor, who survives in Belle Center, and the late James R. Saylor.

On July 30, 1977, he married the former Susan Grant in Belle Center and she survives, along with a son, Steven Saylor of Kenton; daughter, Shannon (D.J.) Ammons of Autryville, North Carolina; two brothers, Ronald (Judy) Saylor of Urbana, Ohio, and Gary (Becky) Saylor of Belle Center; two grandchildren, Kaelyn Saylor and Rylee Grace Ammons; and several nieces and nephews.

A1972 graduate of Belle Center High School, he was a heavy equipment operator for the Shelly Company for thirty two years and was a member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church. He also raised and showed Dorset and Columbia sheep for many years. He enjoyed his grandchildren.

Rev. Kevin Smith officiates the funeral service at 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Burial is in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
