Donna M. Cloud, 96, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at Windsor Place in Orlando, Florida. She was born in Jackson Center, Shelby County, Ohio November 19, 1914, the daughter of the late Alfred M. Groves and the late Hazel E. Coleman Groves. Donna graduated from Washington Local School in Lewistown, Ohio.

She married Kenneth Franklin Cloud February 22, 1935, and he preceded her in death December 08, 1976, in Homestead, Florida. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eldon L Groves October 9, 2006, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Survivors include her sons, K. Michael Cloud (& wife Donna), of Amherst, Ohio and Eugene Cloud (& wife Lee) of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren, Steven Cloud (& wife Cindy) of Stow, Ohio, Cheryl Cobb (& husband Jay) of Amherst, Ohio and Robyn Poorman (& husband Alan) of Vienna, Virginia and four great grandchildren.

Donna worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation, small motors division, in Bellefontaine, Ohio for twenty seven years and retired as a Patrol Inspector. She was also a member of Eastern Star.

She moved to Homestead, Florida in 1976, and then subsequently to Fairways Country Club in east Orlando. While living at Fairways, she enjoyed golf and developed a skill for oil and watercolor painting. While living there, she was a member of the group Palette Pals and sold some of her art at exhibits. She also provided her family with special request paintings. She was also one of the founding members of the Woodbury Presbyterian Church in Orlando.

As her eyesight began to fail, she had to move to independent living at Orlando Lutheran Towers (OLT) in downtown Orlando. During the last five years of her life, because of osteoporosis and almost complete loss of vision, she was then moved to assisted living at OLT-Windsor Place.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio. Calling hours will be Wednesday March 23, 2011, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
