Doris A. Sloan

Doris A. Sloan, age 81 of Belle Center, Ohio, died Tuesday December 23, 2008, at Kenton Nursing Home and Rehabiliation in Kenton, Ohio.  She was born December 1, 1927 in Huntsville, Ohio, the daughter of Scott and Mary Wolfe Hoon, who preceded her death.  She was married to Wilbur Sloan who survives.  Also surviving is a sister, Agnes H. Fisher, of Belle Center, Ohio; a nephew Mike (Shelly) Hoon of Bellefontaine, Ohio; and a niece, Julie Fisher, of Belle Center. 

She was a graduate of Huntsville High School in 1945. She was a member of the Bellefontaine Order of the Eastern Star, a lifetime member of the Hi-Point Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles, Lifetime member of the Lakeview Auxiliary AMVETS, lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary,  Belle Center American Legion Women�s Auxiliary, and lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 A.M., December 29, 2008 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, with Rev. Brian Meadows officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center. 

Friends may call Sunday, December 28, 2008, from 2 until 5 P.M. at the funeral home in Belle Center.
