| Ernest Eugene Horsley Ernest Eugene Horsley, 72, of West Liberty, Ohio, went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, August 21, 2009, in his residence. He was born on February 3, 1937, in Pike County, Ohio, son of the late Delbert and Mabel Orsborne Horsley Reed. On January 4, 1963, he married Ethel Stevens in Concord, Ohio, and they were married for 46 years. She survives along with a son, Dwayne (Jennifer) Horsley of West Liberty; daughter, Jean Ann (Ron) Murphy of Sidney, Ohio; grandsons Dwayne Jr. (Christina) Horsley of West Liberty, Levi Horsley, Garrett Horsley of West Liberty, James Hammer of Burgoon, Ohio; granddaughters Tiffany Egbert, Kasandra Roth, Nikole Gilbert, all of Sidney; great-grandchildren Skyler, Eugene Jr., Brestal Roth, Hunter Allen Horsley, and Olivia Hammer; brothers Rodney Joe Horsley of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Larry (Teresa) Reed of West Liberty; sisters Elva (Nelson) Karns of Urbana, Ohio, Viola (Edward) Kokenhour of Florida, Judy (John) Cauley of Urbana, Margaret (Richard) Trusdale of Urbana, Kitty (Mark) Stanley of West Liberty; special niece and daughter Mable Reeb, a special nephew and son Mike Horsley and many other special nieces and nephews; special friends Carl (Bucky) Nichols, Sodie and Cindy LeVan, and Jeremy and Erin LeVan. He was preceded in death by his step-father Everett W. (Pappy) Reed, brothers, James and Carl Horsley, Jimmy Reed and sister-in-law Judith Horsley. He owned and operated his own trucking business, Horsley Trucking. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the Eagles, and the American Legion. He enjoyed singing karaoke and restoring and driving antique tractors. Calling hours are Monday, August 24, 2009, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, where Pastor Gary Williams will conduct the funeral service on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at 1 P.M. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, with military honors by the Logan County Honor Guard.
