George F. Notestine

George F. Notestine, 53, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Bellefontaine February 28, 1956, a son of the late George F. and Martha L. Stewart Notestine. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hawk.

He is survived by sons, Brock Notestine of Minnesota, and Derek Notestine of Bellefontaine; daughters, Heather Notestine of Utah, Holly Dooley of Woodstock, Ohio, Jennifer Notestine of Columbus, Ohio, and Tiffany Notestine of Bellefontaine; a brother, Jim (LaVonne) Notestine of Quincy, Ohio; sisters, Sharelle (Gene) Hall of Circleville, Ohio, Ellen (John) Fuller of Fairborn, Ohio, Shirley (Tino) Mifsud of Bellefontaine, Lori (Jim) Ellis of Huntsville, Ohio, Jody (John) Watkins of South Carolina and Carol (Dave) Campbell of DeGraff, Ohio; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Rosetta Notestine of Bellefontaine.

He was a well known floor sander in the Logan County area for many years where he owned and operated Notestine Floor Sanding & Refinishing.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Universal Home Health & Hospice Care  701 S. Main St.  Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311; the Logan County Chapter of the American Cancer Society  205 Palmer Ave.  Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
