James K. Pope

James K. Pope, 53, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at his residence.  He was born on December 1, 1955, to Paul L. and Leatrice J. (Burroughs) Pope.

He is survived by his mother, Leatrice of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a son, Shawn Pope of Belle Center; 3 brothers, Michael (Kathy) Pope of Rushsylvania, Ohio, David (Jean) Pope of Billings, Montana, and John Pope of Rushsylvania; and a sister, Kathy (Phillip) Bailey of Bellefontaine.

An associate of Honda of America in Marysville, he was a 1974 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School and enjoyed hunting, woodworking and gardening.  He was a NASCAR Fan.

Chaplin C. Glenn Gault and Pastor Greg Haisley will conduct the funeral service at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, where calling hours are Friday, February 27, 2009, from 4 to 8 P.M.
