| James Marvin Nichols James Marvin Nichols, 73, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday evening December 3, 2010, at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Marvin was born in DeGraff, Ohio, October 21, 1937, to the late Kenneth J. and Edna Marie Ellis Nichols. Marvin is survived by his sons Timothy James (Dacia) Nichols of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Scott (Lisa) Nichols of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, James (Lindsey) Nichols, Madison, Detrick and Hadley Nichols and Jordan Roberts; one great-grandchild, Alexander James Nichols; a brother Kenneth (June) Nichols of Bellefontaine; a sister Thelma (Walter) Roby of McBain, Michigan; his twin sister, Jean Marlene (Norman) Russell of Bellefontaine; numerous nieces and nephews; his fianc�, Connie S. Frater of Bellefontaine, and her children, Tobias (Kendra) Frater, Teresa (Michael) Travis, Tonya (Lee) Hollenbacher, Tyler (Danielle) Frater and several grandchildren. He was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1955, and married Onda Lee Moist June 14, 1958 in Bellefontaine. She preceded Marvin in death in 2003. He served in the National Guard for eight years. Marvin worked for many years as a printer and retired from Merchants Industries and later worked at Rath Forms. He was a member of Only Believe Ministries Christian Center. Marvin was a people-person and loved walking. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed NASCAR. His cats were very special to him. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine at 11 A.M., with Pastor Peter Doseck officiating. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010, from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
