Jane E. Dreusicke

Jane E. Dreusicke, 89, of West Liberty, Ohio and formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Chicago, Illinois July 23, 1921 to the late Stanley and Gladys (Grimes) Patterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dreusicke and a sister, Anne Callier. 

Surviving are two sons, David (Val) Dreusicke of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, and John (Renee) Dreusicke of Lincoln, Illinois; two daughters, Penny (Steve) Stout of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Connie Dreusicke of Charleston, South Carolina; a brother-in-law, Doug Callier of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Dana, Jody, Micki, Laine, Heidi, Andrew, Dustin, Drew, Blake, and Hannah; and several great-grandchildren. 

Jane was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Danville, Illinois, where she volunteered many hours. She also volunteered her time at the Vermillion County War Museum in Danville as well as with the reading program with District 118 with the Danville Schools. She also participated in the ladies aerobics in Danville and loved to read and walk. 

Pastors Jimmy and Katie Hopper will conduct a memorial service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church  100 N. Franklin St.  Danville, IL 61832. There will be an informal visitation with family and friends in the church gymnasium following the memorial service. 

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or to the Vermillion County War Museum  307 N. Vermillion  Danville, IL 61832 

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
