Jennie Marie Bell

Jennie Marie Bell, 91, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Jennie Marie was born March 30, 1918, the daughter of the late Starley and Clara Irene (Sams) Allen.

She was preceded in death by both her first husband, Emerson Sherer and her second husband, Russell Bell, a brother, and two sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Robert) Coffman of Huntsville, Ohio, and Barbara Watt of Parker, Colorado; a sister, Clara Nofziger of Gypsum, Colorado;  four grandchildren, Christine Ott, Laurie Harris, Dan Hughes, and Carrie Fichter, seven great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

She worked as a homemaker and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine, where she had sang in the choir and had also worked as the secretary in the 1960�s. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Art Club of Bellefontaine. She enjoyed playing Bridge and playing music too, as she played the piano and organ and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine, with Rev. Rob Fulton officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio. Calling hours will be from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and  6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
