Jimmy J. Dysert

Jimmy J. Dysert, 76, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 10:05 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. He was born in Belle Center, Ohio November 12, 1934, to the late Lloyd and Irma (Casey) Dysert. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Ann Dysert and two brothers, Jackie and Bobby Dysert. 

He was a graduate of Belle Center High School in 1952 and enjoyed bowling and golfing. A member of the roller derby team at Indian Lake, he was also a member of the American Legion Post # 173, Eagles Lodge # 2166 and the V.F.W. Post # 1080, where he was a custodian for many years and also at the Belle Center Creamery. 

Survivors include sons, Jimmy J. (Jennifer) Dysert II of Huntsville, Ohio, Bobby (Jackie) Dysert of Muncie, Indiana, Jeff (Beverly) Dysert of Bellefontaine, Rick (Lynn) Dysert of Belle Center, Don Penrose of Lakeview, Ohio, and John (Amy) Penrose of Indiana; one daughter, Tammy Reisinger of Lakeview; two sisters, Peggy Pittman and Patty Stringer both of Bellefontaine; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. 

Pastor Bryan Meadows will conduct the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
