Julie E. Rumer

Julie E. Rumer, 65, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, died Friday, April 23, 2010 in her home. She was born in Dayton, Ohio April 10, 1945, a daughter of the late Louise and Hazel Viola Custer Dickman.

On July 12, 1968, she married John C. Rumer Sr. in St. Marys, Ohio, and he died January 12, 1991. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Flack.

Survivors include a son, John (Patty) Rumer of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Melissa (Tony) Parmer of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a sister, Janelle Sweigart of Ocala, Florida; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Bethany and Brandon.

She was an assembler at Copeland Corporation in Sidney, Ohio and attended the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Jeffory Willetts will conduct the funeral service Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Interment is in the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, Ohio.
