June M. Griffith, 85, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon, May 20, 2011 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. June was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan June 14, 1925, to the late Hugo J. and Edna E. Gulf LaVerne. 

She married Charles V. Griffith in Springfield on September 10, 1960 and he preceded her in death May 27, 1995. June was also preceded in death by a son Michael L. Little, and a brother.

June worked as a homemaker and was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine.

June is survived by three sons; Edward J. (Linda) Little of Palm Springs, California, Leslie V. �Skip� (Jan) Little of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Thomas D. Little of Bellefontaine; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two great great grand children; a brother; two sisters; a good friend Lillian Davis and a dog Coco. June also raised six Griffith children.

Pastor Deb Storm will conduct the funeral service Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at noon at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
