Keith M. Smith, 50, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon, July 29, 2011 at The Ohio State University Hospital East in Columbus, Ohio. Keith was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio February 10, 1961, to Phillip M. and Bette Blair Smith. 

Keith worked for twenty two years at Honda in material services. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks. 

Keith is survived by his children Jeremy R. Smith of Cherokee, North Carolina and Rachael (Joseph) Hildebrand of Jamestown, Ohio; his mother, Bette Warner of Bellefontaine; brothers Larry Smith of Bellefontaine, Steven (Vickie) Smith of Lakeview, Ohio, Jerry Smith of Apoka, Florida, Gregory Smith of West Liberty, Frank (Beverly) Smith of Bellefontaine, and Mark (Tammy) Smith of West Liberty; a grandson, Ryder Hildebrand, and many nieces and nephews. 

Keith was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Gary Smith. 

Calling hours are Monday, August 1, 2011, at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, from 5 to 8 P.M. and on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, from 10 to 11 A.M. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Alex Dye officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
