Louise E. (Rumer) DeLaughder, 86, formerly of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at her residence in Granville, Ohio, on Friday, May 29, 2009.

She was born in Ridgeway, Ohio, on November 19, 1922, to the late Harold and Thelma (Watts) Rumer. On June 14, 1941, she married Anthony A. DeLaughder at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2008. Also preceding her death was a sister and four brothers.

She leaves behind three daughters, Carolyn (Ballard) Craft of Huntsville, Ohio, Toni Sue Bolon of Granville and Dolores (Jim) Day of Millersport, Ohio; two grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great-step grandchildren, one great-great grandson; a  brother Warren Rumer, and a sister, Mary Lou Godwin, both of Bellefontaine; a sister-in-law, Joyce Rumer, of Belle Center, Ohio; and many nieces & nephews.

A devoted catholic, she was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years. She graduated in 1941 from Ridgeway High School.

Louise enjoyed having her family around at all times and loved to visit with her neighbors in Granville. She loved to cook, have cookouts, going out to eat and shopping with her girls. She truly will be missed by many, but we all know that she is now with her loving husband, Tony.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Central Ohio  2269 Cherry Valley Road  Newark, Ohio 43055.
