Millie L. Collins

Millie L. Collins, 74, of East Liberty, Ohio, and formerly of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010, at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born July 18, 1935 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the late Albert M. and Edith �Juanita� (Richards) Phillips.

On October 11, 1952, she married Curtis E. Collins in Lakeview, and he survives along with their son and daughter, Mark (Diana) Collins of East Liberty, and Cheryl (Jim) Nicholl of Bellefontaine. 

Also surviving are three brothers, Frank Phillips of Bellefontaine, Albert (Sue) Phillips II of Foley, Alabama, and Mike (Lorae) Phillips of Casstown, Ohio; grandchildren, Kris (Chasity) Nicholl, Ryan Collins, Katrina (Jonathan) Daniels and Nikki (Zach) Wahrer; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was a retired cook from the Lakeview Elementary school.

A member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine and a former Sunday school teacher, she was a member of the Women of the Church of God. She was an avid Ohio State University football and basketball fan. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and loved attending the grandchildren's events.

Calling hours are Thursday, January 28, 2010, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where Pastors Ron Irick and Ray Headings will conduct the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 29, 2010. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
