Miriam Joan Williams
Miriam Joan Williams, 76, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Middleburg, Ohio October 29, 1934, a daughter of the late Byron and Mildred (Holycross) Henry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Philip Myron Williams, and Charles A. Prall. Survivors include three daughters, Janice Williams, of Urbana, Ohio, Tina (James) Copeland, of Marietta, Georgia, and Beverly (Rob) Dillman, of London, Ohio; a son, John (Cathy) Williams, of Lady Lake, Florida; one brother, Bob (Nila) Henry, of East Liberty, Ohio, and a sister, Shirley Ross, of Duncanville, Texas. Survivors also include her grandchildren, Kristopher Copeland, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Matthew (Rachel, fianc�e) Copeland, of Atlanta, Georgia; Jacqueline (Kevin) McMahon, of Delaware, Ohio, and Megan Joan Dillman, of London, Ohio; her two great-grandchildren, Liam and Emma McMahon, as well as many cousins and nieces and nephews. Miriam enjoyed Model T clubs and tours, and was the director of an annual Winter Tour in Florida. She was a Red Cross volunteer locally, sang with the Melodears Chorus, as well as volunteering with her church after hurricanes Andrew, Hugo, and Katrina. But her real passion was her family; she loved them dearly. Calling hours are Friday, January 21, 2011, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, Ohio. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Grace Chapel Church in West Liberty. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross 105 North Detroit Street West Liberty, OH 43357
