Carl M. Reames

Carl M. Reames, 81, of Rushsylvania, Ohio, passed away at 11:50 A.M. Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio March 27, 1929, to the late Harland C. and Helen E. (Whitaker) Reames. He also was preceded in death by brothers, Harland, Spencer W., Lloyd E. and Edward L. and a sister, Bessie McMillen. 

On September 20, 1953 in Belle Center, Ohio, he married the former Coral M. (Bullock) Reames and she survives along with sons, Harland (Sandra) Reames of Branson, Missouri, Carl S. (Kathy) Reames of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Richard K. (Melinda) Reames of West Liberty, Ohio, Michael L. DeAnna) Reames of Zanesfield, Ohio, Christie B. (Nancy) Reames of Middleburg, Ohio, and Douglas A. (Pam) Reames of Rushsylvania; a brother, Joe Reames of Huntsville, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. 

He was an United States Army Veteran and was employed with the A J Miller Company, M & R TV for twenty six years and was an owner/operator for Town & Country TV for seventeen years. Since his retirement, he enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed visiting residents of Heartland of Bellefontaine and Logan Acres and was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. 

Pastor Max Jackson will officiate a graveside service Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center. Calling hours are Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, or to the food pantry of donor�s choice.
