Patricia Muller Buchenroth, 83, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 3:35 P.M. Sunday, January 23, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Bellefontaine November 25, 1927, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Oma McCormick Muller. She was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Buchenroth and a sister, Joanne Smith. In 1946, she married Richard Buchenroth who preceded her death in 1991.

Survivors include sons, Stephen (Vicki) Buchenroth of Worthington, Ohio, John (Pat Shuster) Buchenroth of Westerville, Ohio and David (Ginger) Buchenroth of Huntsville, Ohio; a daughter, Marylou (Brian) Stucky of Brecksville, Ohio; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A graduate of Bellefontaine High School, she attended Ohio Wesleyan University. She was a member of Galilee Lutheran Church in Russells Point, Ohio, and taught Weekday Religious Education in Logan County for many years.  She worked for some years in the family business, Buchenroth Inc. and was a charter member of the Rake and Hoe Garden Club and also a member of the Athenian Club. She served on the Logan County Children Services Board as well with the American Cancer Society in Bellefontaine. Both her and husband were very active in Logan County for many years with volunteering for different groups and organizations.

Pastor Bonnie Gerber will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at the Galilee Lutheran Church in Russells Point, where friends may call two hours prior to the service. A private family burial will take place in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
