Paul E. Moore

Paul E. Moore, 70, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 16, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born July 11, 1940 in East Liberty, Ohio, a son of the late Delmer W. and Florence M. (Hildreth) Moore. He was also preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Moore.

He retired in 1998 from Glacier Daido America and served in the United States Army and the National Guard for twenty six years. He was a member of the East Liberty United Methodist Church and was a 1958 graduate of Perry Zane High School. He was also a member of the AMVETS, the American Legion, the Logan County Honor Guard and was President of the American Bowling League. Bowling and his grandchildren were his life. He enjoyed playing euchre and following The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.

He is survived by a son, David Moore of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Colt Wesley (Kelly Ball) Moore and Jessie Jayne Moore; his best friend, Nellie Moore Snider of Bellefontaine; a sister, Sharon (Greg) Northrop of Bucyrus, Ohio; two nieces; two great nieces and one great nephew.

Rev. Bryan Meadows will conduct the funeral service at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call from 3 to 6 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will take place at the East Liberty Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Eichholtz Funeral Home  321 N. Main St.  Bellefontaine, OH 43311
