Pearline Egler, 72, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born April 16, 1938 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Joseph and Anna Laura (Clay) Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Virgle Egler, and sisters, Mary Brown and Pricilla Davis. 

Surviving are two sons, Walter Virgle (Patty) Egler of DeGraff, Ohio, and Sean Henry (Bethany) Egler of Findlay, Ohio; five daughters, Anna (Dwight) Kennerly of Springfield, Ohio, Donna Ratliff, Jeanette Sanders, Cheryl (Derrick) Kinchen, and Akima Long, all of Bellefontaine; seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Pearl worked at Mary Rutan Hospital in the office from January 1975 to October 1999. She was a member of Christ Temple Church in Bellefontaine where she was also a church missionary. 

Rev. Abraham Kenner will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, December 13, 2010.   Interment will follow the funeral service in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
