Peggy L. Davis

Peggy L. Davis, 79, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 3:10 A.M. at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 20, 1930 in Logan County, Ohio, the daughter of Dwight Burden, who preceded her in death and Juanita (Rosebrook) Burden Rothrock who survives in Bellefontaine, Ohio. On June 2, 1948, she married Duane Davis and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons; Art (Valerie) Davis of Bellefontaine and Terry (Danese) Davis of Huntsville; one brother, Kenneth Gene (Faye) Burden of Indianapolis, Indiana; a very dear friend, Kathy Doo of Bellefontaine; eight grandchildren; Mike Davis, Nikki Burnworth, Holly Shiley, Scott Davis, Krystal Johnson, Susan Frazier, Jessie Wise, Mollie Wise; and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by a son, Mike Davis; two grandchildren, Joe Davis and Jamie Small, and a great grandson Trent Burnworth.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Bellefontaine. 

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, conducted by Pastor A.W. Purdin. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
