Ralph E. Jackson

Ralph E. Jackson, 66, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009, at his residence. He was born May 25, 1943, in Urbana, Ohio, a son of Rovella Scott Jackson, who survives in Urbana, and the late Edward Jackson. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Ramona Jane Howell.

On March 7, 1970, he married the former June K. Clark in Bellefontaine, and she survives along with a daughter, Wendy (Joe) Roy of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Terry (Shari) Jackson of Toledo, Ohio, and Scott Jackson of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren; brothers, Marvin (Saundra) Jackson and Robert Jackson, both of Springfield, Ohio, Roussell Jackson of Urbana and Kenny Jackson of Plain City, Ohio.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, he retired from Navistar in 2008 after 37 years.

Rev. Kenneth Mitchell will conduct the memorial service at 3 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with one hour of visitation hour prior to the service.
