Richard Franklin Queen Richard Franklin Queen, 68, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born March 24, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to the late James Arnett and Goldie Alma (Dodds) Queen. Also preceding him in death was a brother, June Alexander; two sisters, Lena Mae Alexander and Annette Prall, and his first wife, Charlotte Hooper. His second wife, Joni Puckett, survives in Marysville, Ohio. He is also survived by a son, Rick (Merideth) Queen of Milford Center, Ohio; daughters, Melanie Queen of Bellefontaine and Judy Queen of Zanesville, Ohio; brothers, James A. and Donald G. (Shirley) Queen, both of Bellefontaine and six grandchildren, Nigel, Navin, Nickolaus, Desteny, Draylyn, and Hayden; and one great grandchild, Hendrix. Richard was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era and worked twenty five years for Rockwell and retired from H.B.D. in Bellefontaine. He loved to shoot pool and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Rev. Abraham Kenner will conduct the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M.
