Rita Marie Warner Adams

Rita Marie Warner Adams, 58, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.

She was born January 12, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph Morris and Evelyn Johnson Page Warner. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Reginald Warner.

Survivors include a daughter, Tisha Marie Adams of Bellefontaine; two sons, Frederick David �Rick� (Wendy) Adams of McComb and Scott (Teasha) Adams of Bellefontaine; three brothers, Michael Warner and Alvin �Pappy� (Deb) Warner, both of Bellefontaine, and Ralph (Roberta) Warner of Trotwood; three sisters, Teresa Warner of Dayton, Geneva �Snook� Fogel of Bellefontaine and Patricia �Patty� Page of Beavercreek; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A member of the Grace AME Church in Bellefontaine, she served on the church�s stewardess and missionary boards and on the quarterly council. She was a member of the Mingo Nation, and enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and cards. She was a retired caterer.

Rev. J.D. Grigsby conducts the funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at the First Church of God 1000 E. Brown Ave. in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are two hours prior to the service. Burial follows in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
