Robert Max Bazzle

Robert Max Bazzle, 79, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 15, 2010, surrounded in his home by his family. He was born in Ashley, Ohio January 19, 1931, to the late Ivan Paul and Mae Freda Foust Bazzle. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Mae Bazzle Waner; a half-sister, Betty Bazzle Kerns; and a great-grandson, Isaac Kracus.

On March 1, 1953, he married the former Janet Louise Berry in the First Church of God in Bellefontaine, and she survives, along with sons, Rock Alan (Kathy) Bazzle of Spring Lake Park, Minnesota, and Robert D. (Joyce) Bazzle of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Deena Marie (Scott) Jarvis of Huntsville, Ohio; sisters, Vicki (Joe) Yoakam of Bellefontaine and Judy (Dick) Rockhold of Florida; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert retired from Howard Sober�s Trucking Company in Springfield, where he was a truck driver. He also worked on the railroad as a fireman and was a farmer.

He was a member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine, a United States Navy veteran and member of the American Legion. He loved fishing and hunting.

Pastors C.J. Plogger and Ray Headings will conduct the funeral at 1 P.M. Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the First Church of God. The Logan County Honor Guard leads a military service in the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio following the service at the church. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
