Teresa Joan Fahle

Teresa Joan Fahle, 58, of Beltsville, Maryland, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 4, 2010 at her parent�s home. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio November 2, 1951, a daughter of Rosella L. Fahle and the late Russell E. Fahle who preceded her in death.

After graduating from Miami University with a B.S. Degree in biology in 1974, Teresa spent a year teaching in Bunbury, Western Australia. Upon her return to the United States, she settled in the Washington D.C. area. Teresa taught in Catholic schools in the Archdioceses of Washington for twenty five years. She earned her Masters Degree in Counseling at Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland, and had worked at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland, as a guidance counselor for the last thirteen years. 

Teresa was passionate about her students throughout her teaching and counseling career, and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.

She is survived by a brother, Steve (Brenda) Fahle of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two nephews, Steve Fahle Jr. of Bellefontaine and Ryan (Randi Dee) Fahle of Marysville, Ohio; a niece, Kimberly Fahle of Bellefontaine along with a great nephew, Gavin Fahle of Bellefontaine.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 12, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine with Rev. Patrick Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow the mass in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
