Lois Toots Munz

Lois Toots Munz, 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away February 13, 2011 at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born September 12, 1948, in Bellefontaine to John Conrad Porter and Lois Darlene Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Wally Munz, whom she married November 30, 1973, in Zanesfield, Ohio, along with three sons and daughters-in-law: Scott and Kelli LeVan of Bellefontaine, Bryan and Darla LeVan of West Liberty, Ohio, and Kyle and Holly Munz of Bellefontaine; her seven grandchildren: Jessica, Kayla, Brock, Rylee, Baylie, Tucker, and Kaiden. Toots is also survived by her siblings: Sue and the late Phillip Ball, Connie and J.D. Napier, Dianna and Tom Sheeley, and John and Sandy Porter, all of Bellefontaine; Beverly Butterfield of Huntsville, Ohio, Karen and Bob Davis of Lakeview, Ohio, Art Jr. and Heather Stapleton of Urbana, Ohio, Patty and Tommy Wipf of Silverton, Colorado, and Kim and  Don Murtha of Irving, Texas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce Munz, and her father-in-law, Ed Munz, both of Bellefontaine. She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Retha Munz. 

Toots worked a variety of jobs, including PK Lumber, TP Lanes, Homecoming Restaurant, and Sims Brothers, but her real life�s work was helping and caring for her friends and family. 

Calling hours will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Thursday, February 17, 2011, from 4 to 8 P.M., where a memorial service will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bonnie Frost officiating.
