Treva Jerviss

Treva Jerviss, 91, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born October 18, 1918 to the late Willis and Elizabeth (Ambos) Minnich in Santa Fe, Ohio. 

On September 16, 1940 she married Olaf Jerviss in Lewistown, Ohio, and he preceded her in death May 4, 1994. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Sharon Britt; a daughter-in-law, Dixie Jerviss; brothers, Neil, Warren, Lewis, Hershel, and Russell Minnich; and a sister, Helen Fisher. 

She is survived by sons, Larry (Phyllis) Jerviss of Huntsville, Ohio, and Wayne (Ann) Jerviss of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Kathy (Robert) Mohr of DeGraff, Ohio; a son in law, Dave Britt of jackson Center, Ohio; brothers, Paul Minnich of DeGraff and Roger (Florene) Minnich of St. Mary�s, Ohio; sisters, Betty Place of Buckland, Ohio, and Shirley (Gayle) Satterfield of Fairborn, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. 

A homemaker, Treva was a 1936 graduate of Stokes Township High School and a member of the Stony Creek Church of the Brethren. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau Council. 

Rev. Wayne Downing will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stony Creek Church of the Brethren  3570 Road 31 South  DeGraff, OH 43318
