U. J. McGinnis U. J. McGinnis, 86, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away at 3:30 A.M. Monday, March 21, 2011, at Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio. He was born in Hardin County, Ohio February 12, 1925, a son of the late Pearl L. and Hazel (Kenyon) McGinnis. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sterling McGinnis. He married Sidney (Dreitzler) McGinnis June 30, 1946 in Roundhead, Ohio, and she preceded him in death February 21, 1998. He is survived by sons, Randy (Raylene) McGinnis of Austin, Texas and Colin (Rosie) McGinnis of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a daughter, Sandra (Bill) Feenstra of Marysville, Ohio; grandchildren, Michael McGinnis, Chris Feenstra, Tiffany (Joe) McLaughlin, Matthew McGinnis, Chelsea McGinnis, Maegan (Jason) King; great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Casey, Shae & Kenyon Feenstra, Lyndsay & Erin McLaughlin; a sister, Jacqueline �Jackie� Logan of Dayton, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a Corporal in the United States Army Air Corp serving with the 19th Bomb Group during World War II and was a member & Past Commander of Roundhead V.F.W. Post # 8832 in Belle Center, American Legion # 266, and member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church. He retired in 1990 from Rockwell International as an inspector after thirty one years. Rev. Kevin Smith will conduct the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, where calling hours are Wednesday, March 23, 2011, from 4 to 7 P.M. Interment will take place at the Fairview-McDonald Cemetery in Belle Center.
