William E. Molton

William E. Molton, 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. He was born March 1, 1932, to the late Thomas and Hazel (Bates) Molton.

On February 2, 1962, he married Marilyn Robinaugh in Bellefontaine and she survives along with two children, Patricia Lynn (David) Rostorfer, of Bellefontaine, and Steven Eric (Cynthia) Molton of Urbana, Ohio; four grandchildren, Samuel and Jacob Molton of Urbana, and Marcy & Ryan Sebring of Bellefontaine, and two step grandsons, D.J. and Drew Rostorfer of Bellefontaine; daughter-in-law, Julie Molton of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Nancy (Charles) Beatty of Cave City, Arkansas, and Mae Roberts of Morehead, Kentucky; a brother, John Molton of New Orleans, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Larry Robinaugh of Bellefontaine; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, William Scott Molton, two sisters, Mina Kesecker and Nell Lerch, and a brother, Earl Molton.

Bill worked at Siemens as a night supervisor and retired after forty two years of service. An Army veteran serving in the Korean War, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, Bellefontaine Lodge # 209 Free and Accepted Masons, Grand Council Royal & Select Masons of Ohio, Logan Council No. 85, Scottish Rite (32 Club), Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, Lafayette Chapter No. 60, and was Past President twice for the Bellefontaine Lions Club, a member of the American Legion Post #173 and 29th. Infantry Regiment Association. His family was the most important thing in his life.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where the funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 26, 2010, with Pastor Ed Beale officiating.  Burial will follow the funeral service in the Bellefontaine Cemetery with military honors by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
